Waging War against Stagnation 2

Text:- Deuteronomy 2:14-16
In the last devotional message we were able to see how and what stagnation actually mean, this morning we quickly want to see few causes of stagnation. You cannot just be stagnated, something could have caused it. The followings are few cause of stagnation.

1.Curse:- When a man is cursed, the curse go straight into his blood and whoever come out of him(a child) will invariably be operating under that curse(Lev. 17:11), in the passage above we see the Israelite wondering in the wilderness for thirty eight (38)years unable to get to their desire land,they cannot cross the land of AR, the coast of Moab (Deut. 2:19),check Numb. 13:26 & Numb. 14,see how curse waste the live of the Israelite who rebel against the Lord and make their children to be stagnated(Numb. 14:21-23,Deut. 2:14-16).

2. Fighting people of God(Numb. 22:22-31):– It is unwise and unreasonable to be fighting someone God is happy with, it is tantamount to wasting your precious time, it means you are fighting God, and have you ever see anyone who fight God and won definitely none. Balam was a prophet of God who God had pre-warn not to carry out the assignment people gave him against the people of God, Balak ask him to curse the Israelite, he gave him gifts, which he rejected at first because he knew God(Numb. 22:6-18), Balak continue to pester him until he yields and because of this God delayed him, he faced stagnation. Stagnation does not respect anointing nor your class.

-My father and my God liberate me from the power of curse that hold me down.

-Oh Lord help me to see beyond physical, so as not to be fighting those you are happy with.

-Today i receive the power that cannot be stagnated.
