DIVINE BLESSING

Introduction

Text:Luke 5:6

Do you know that God is still in the business of blessing his people, he promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he fulfill his promises “²and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: ³and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3).

What is Divine blessing?

The goodness, favour and mercy received from God alone who gives freely to mankind. In other words, every good things deposited by God into your life, starting from good health, food provision, protection, children, good work are all divine blessings. If we understand this, you will agree with the scripture that says “²⁷John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven” (John 3:27).

Divine blessings can be divided into 2,namely :

–Spiritual and

–Physical

Spiritual blessing seems intangible to some people, but do not forget that spiritual control physical you cannot do without things of the spirit, whatever will happen to you in physical must have happen first in the spirit realm, this is why some looses job and contracts in the spirit realm and still loose it in the physical. When a man is blessed, those around him will be equally blessed and whoever hate him is in trouble. But it is a pity we always run after physical blessing such as good children, job, houses,good cars, traveling abroad, good spouse etc. Brethren, God is still in the business of blessing his people, especially those that fear him and not stingy to neither God or man.

-Thank you Lord for your promises.

-Thank you for the Divine arrangement to bless me and bless my root.

-My father, i tapped into the divine blessing meant for an obedient children this week.

-Oh Lord make me a source of blessing to others too.
